- Wash inside out to protect the ribbed knit texture and gold-tone buttons
- Use a mild detergent
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry — lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight to preserve shape and colour
- Do not wring or twist
- Iron on low heat if needed, following the direction of the rib
- Remove the hood before washing if detachable
- Store folded or hung — avoid compressing the ribbed texture for extended periods
