The fabric is a crinkle-textured polyester that drapes like linen but wears without the ironing: fluid, lightweight, and soft against the skin, with a natural crease that is part of the design rather than a problem to fix. The shirt is oversized — wide through the body, dropped shoulders, a generous open lapel collar that falls into a deep V at the chest, and long sleeves with slightly gathered cuffs that blouse softly at the wrist. The trousers are the piece: full barrel-leg cut with deep front pleats at the waistband that create enormous volume through the hip and thigh before tapering gently toward the ankle. It is a shape that photographs exceptionally well and wears even better, with side pockets on both legs and an elasticated waist that makes the whole thing as comfortable as it looks effortless.
